Princeton.—April 20 Elders Gillett and Andrews, of Bangor, Cal., came to this place for the purpose of organizing our little band of members into a church. The following day we met in council at the home of E. C. Overholtzer and the organization was effected with a membership of twenty, seventeen being present and handing in their letters. Officers were elected; Bro. Gillett was chosen as our elder. We appointed Bro. J. Overholtzer to act as foreman in the absence of the elder. An election was held for a deacon, the lot falling on Bro. M. N. Overholtzer, who with his wife was duly installed, together with Sister Laura Calvert, wife of Bro. J. Calvert. Bro. Gillett delivered an inspiring discourse on Sunday, and in the evening we were addressed by Bro. Andrews. The interest in our Sunday school and preaching services is increasing encouragingly. Our organization will be known in the future as the Sacramento Valley church.—Emma Piatt, Princeton, Cal., April 24
