Trigo. – The members of the Church of the Brethren, living at or near Trigo, Cal., met Oct. 31, to effect an organization, in order to become a working body.  Eld. Harvey Eikenberry, of Raison City, and Eld. C. E. Wolf of Fresno, officiated in the organization and gave us timely counsel. We have not yet fully decided upon a name for our congregation. Twenty-two members presented letters of membership, among them being two elders and one deacon. At a later state of meeting a choice for another deacon resulted in the election and installation of Bro. Edw. M. Follis, to that office. Church officers elected are as follows: Bro. D. F. Sink, presiding elder; Sister Anna Ramsey, Clerk; Bro. Wm. Lingofelter, treasurer; Sister Mamie Sink, church correspondent; Sister Bessie Bailey, Messenger agent; trustees, Brethren D. P. Bailey, W. F. Ramsey and Edw. M. Follis. All the above were elected to serve until Jan. 1, 1915, excepting the trustees, who were elected indefinitely.  Steps are being taken to secure a house of worship. All services are now held at the home of Eld. J. M Follis. The Sunday-school, which has    been in progress for some time, is superintended by Bro. Herbert Lingofelter.  Members seeking homes are invited to investigate our locality, and to come and help us to build up the cause of Christ at this place. – Mamie Sink, Trigo, Cal., Nov. 1
