Nampa – By unanimous consent of this church a little band of members, twenty in number, living in the southern part of the congregation, met at the home of Bro. C. A. Williams May 22, to organize, themselves into a separate congregation.  Elders. J. H. Graybill and J. C. Neher, of Nampa, were present and had charge of the work.  Eld. J. C. Neher preached an appropriate sermon at our schoolhouse at 11:30 A. M. Bro. C. A. Williams is our resident minister.  We have had an interesting union Sunday school during the winter and up to the present time. The interest is good.  We have preaching every other Sunday.  Our church will be know as the :Madden View” congregation.  Eld. J. H. Graybill was chosen as our presiding elder. We will be represent at the district meeting by Bro. E. M. Wine and Sister D. K. Honsack.  The writer was chosen as correspondent. – Emma I. Wine, Newell, Idaho., May 26.

This congregation has decided to build a church in Bowmont, Idaho.  The members of the building committee are Brethren C. A. Williams, E. M. Wine and J. W. Blickenstaff.  They are now soliciting and expect to put up the building in the next few months,  this church was originally a part of the Nampa congregation, in May 1910, the church was organized. Since then they have had no churchhouse, but hold services in a schoolhouse. Our love feast have been held in private dwellings.  Our territory is south of Nampa. There is not an organized church of any kind save ours, that I know of, in a radius of ten or fifteen miles.  Here is a large territory and it is new.  The Boise-Payette Reclamation Project covers this territory and the ditches are now being constructed on the last division.  There is  a large acreage of State land yet unsold. This land is being disposed of from time to time to the highest bidder, on sixteen to eighteen years of time at 6% on the unpaid payments. Then, too, there is  a large acreage of homestead land, which has been filed on by many.  Claimants will relinquish for a very reasonable figure. Here is an opportunity for many of our Brethren to secure a home.  We greatly need another preacher.  There is room here for several.  We how have two place needing weekly preaching, and only one minister.  Will not some good minister come?  Bowmont, Idaho, Nov. 10.
