Payette. – We have appointed a council for March 10, at 2 o’clock, at the home of Bro. I. L. Harader, to organize a church.  We would ask any who may be in reach, to come and hand in their letters and help in the work.  We would be glad if some of the elders of the District would come and assist in the work in behalf of the Brethren. – Levi Whisler, Feb. 17.

Payette. – As one of elders could not be present March 19, we put off the time of our organization meeting one week later.  Eld. Caleb Fogle presided at the meeting.  Nine letters were read.  Two elders and one deacon are among our number.  Bro. Harader was chosen to take charge of the church.  Bro. Edwin is treasurer and the writer, secretary and corresponding secretary.  The church will be known as “Payette Valley.”   Bro. Clarence Pratt was also with us.  He with others, expects to move here in the near future. – Judson Beckwith,

Fruitland Mission. – This point, known to our readers as Valley View Sunday school, will hereafter be known as the “Fruitland Mission,” – a branch of the Payette church. Our new church house is almost completed, and will soon be ready for dedication.  We have just sent in our order for four dozen Hymnals. Last Sunday we took up a collection for the Bicentennial Fund, and raised $30.30. any members thinking of changing their location, will do well to come to our little town of Fruitland, six miles from Payette.  It is in one of the most beautiful spots of this whole country.  We would like to have an able minister located here, - one who is loyal to the cause. Who will come? – Mrs. Marvel Bowers, R. D. 1, Payette, Idaho, May 28

Fruitland Mission. – Our new churchhouse is now completed and the members are very well pleased with it. On Sunday, July 5, it was dedicated by Bro. A. L. Gorham, who preached a fine sermon.  Bro. Wampler gave a short talk to the children, which was much appreciates.  A collection was taken to help lift the indebtedness from the church, and the amount received was $200.04. On Monday evening, July 6, Bro. J. U. G. Stiverson preached an excellent sermon from us. We were very much pleased that he could be with us at this time, as he expects to leave Idaho for some other field of labor. We are sorry to see him leave Idaho. – Marvel Bowers, R. D. 1, Payette, Idaho, July 7
