Clear Creek.—At a recent church meeting in the City of Huntington, the adjoining elders being present, it was decided to divide the Clear Creek church, making Huntington a separate congregation, to be known as the " Huntington City" church. The committee from District Meeting did effective work in arranging to lift the debt from the church property. Only about four hundred dollars is still to be paid, and this is arranged for. Eld. J. H. Wright, who has been connected with the work for the last year, is moving away, hence the city church is left at this time without a resident minister. A committee, consisting of the four deacons with the young elders will make an effort to locate another minister as soon as possible. Brethren, desiring to do city work in a good field, would do well to correspond with them. The Huntington City church will be looked after by adjoining elders for the present. The churches around Huntington, four in number, are to be commended for their faithfulness in staying by the work in the city.
