Brother Holsinger; Having been called by brethren near Pierceton, Ind., to assist doing some church business, I returned from there to this place called Webster, to visit the brethren here, where some twenty years ago, I and other brethren from Turkey Creek, held forth Christ and him crucified, to the first settler of this place.  There were but a few families who had moved from Tuscarawas, Ohio, by the names of Mack and Shock. After some years, the number had multiplied, and they were organized with Philip Rothenberger (Swiss brother) and Conrad Brumbaugh for their leaders, and though the adversary hath severely tried them they have steadily increased in number, and that they may be encouraged in their divine life, and become more dead unto the world.
