Maxwell. – Indian Creek church met in council April 6, with Eld. I. W. Brubaker presiding.  A petition, asking that the Maxwell branch of the Indian Creek church be made a separate organization was granted.  Bro. I. W. Brubaker was elected elder for the new church.  a business meeting was held April 19 and the work of the new church started.  Brethren C. Z. Reitz and Dan Faidley and Sister Troup were elected trustees. It was decided that we have services every Sunday morning and evening and also prayer meeting on Thursday night.  April 24 we were favored by two sermons by Bro. Brunk, of the Des Moines church. We are all trusting that the new church branch of the church may do active Christian work. – Mrs. R. E. Goughnour, Maxwell, Iowa, April 25.
