A NEW CONGREGATION BORN INTO THE BROTHERHOOD.

Nov. 30 Eld. G. W. Weddle and the writer, by appointment of the elders of the Southwestern District of ' Kansas, met with the brethren and sisters of Comanche County, Kans., in the home of Bro. B. F. Brubaker, for the purpose of assisting Eld. J. W. B. Hylton in organizing a congregation in that county. Thirteen church certificates were read. The organization proceeded as follows: Bro. C. D Hylton was elected as eider, with Eld, J. W. B. Hylton as assistant; Sister Ruth Brubaker. secretary; Bro. Roy Hylton, treasurer; Sister Mary Jones, Messenger correspondent; Bro. D. W. Jones, Messenger agent and missionary solicitor. Bro. Roy Hylton and Anna Brubaker are the choristers. Bro. B. F. Brubaker was ordained to the eldership. It was decided to call the new congregation the Protection church. The members live from four to ten miles south of Protection, but this is their nearest-railroad station and their post office address. C. D. Hylton. Bloom, Kans., Dec. 2.
