Long Green Valley church has just made its transition from a mission to a regular established church of the Brotherhood. The above was consummated at the close of a series of meetings, held here for two weeks by Eld. William E. Roop. The direct message of truth and earnest appeals has awakened profound Interest In the entire community. The baptism. Oct. 30, of four precious souls, was witnessed by a large crowd from various faiths. Two more announced themselves ready for church membership, and will consecrate their lives to the Lord. Many more are near the kingdom. May the work of the Holy Spirit continue unhindered! All feel to praise the Lord for his manifold goodness.—Ida Newhouser, Long Green Valley, Md., Nov. 8.

Long Green Valley. – In May, 1900, Bro. Chas. D. Bonsack, of Union Bridge, Md., preached his first sermon at this place. At this time Bro. J. M. Prigel and wife were the only members of the Brethren in this vicinity.  Through the efforts of Bro. Bonsack a mission was started, which grew in interest, and several were added to this church. In October, 1908, a churchhouse was built, and was organized in 1910 as the Long Green Valley congregation. At the present time we have thirty-eight members, with Bro. W. E. Roop as elder in charge.  While we have not increased in numbers as fast as we desired, yet we fell that some good has been accomplished, and if our members are guided by the Holy Spirit, we are sure of glorious results. June 15 we held our love feast.  The weather was inclement and not many visitors were present.  A week prior to this, evangelist services were gain conducted by Bro. Bonsack. The members, who entered into this revival with good earnest, feel that they have been greatly blessed. – Ida M. Neuhauser, Gittings, Md., June 20.
