Sugar Ridge. – Dec. 26 we left our home for Manistee and Missaukee Counties for the purpose of organizing a church at each of the above place.  We met Bro. I. F. Rairigh at Baldwin. Saturday morning we met with the brethren and sister at Brethren, Mich. There are about forty members located at this place.  Among their number are four ministers located at this place. Among their numbers are four chosen as elder.  The outlook is favorable. We remained with them over Sunday.  Monday we went to Missaukee County, where we met the members for public services at 7:30 P. M. Bro. Rairigh gave us a soul-cheering sermon. Thursday morning we met in council. They were duly organized with one minister and two deacons.  The writer was chosen as elder in charge.  The outlook at this place looks encouraging.  We expect to remain with the members at this place all week at least. – J. M. Lair, Scottville, Mich., R. F. D. No. 1, Dec. 30
