Peace Valley church met May 7 to organize a church.  Bro. F. W. Dove, of Cabool, Mo., the missionary traveling evangelist was present, with Bro. Lemuel Hillery to assist.  The letters were handed in by the members. A letter was read that was sent by C. H. Balsbaugh for our encouragement.  We organized with forty-four members.  Bro. Lemuel Hillery was chosen as our elder for one year, and Bro. A.  W. Finfrock as clerk and corresponding secretary; Sister Hetty Engle and Bertha Wassam solicitors for home mission.  It was decided to represent at Annual Meeting, and Bro. J. J. Wassam was chosen delegate.  If any Brethren want to help to build up a church, here is a good opening.  Anyone wish to learn more of this country send a stamped envelope and you will get a reply. – A. W. Finfrock, West Plain, Mo., R. F. D. No. 2, May 9.
