Bassett, Nebr. – The once  thriving little church, called “Long Pine Creek” church is now only a remnant.  Bro. Snavely, from Alvo, Nebr., was with us the past few days.  The church met in council at the home of S. D. Boyd, near Newport. Five members were present.  Two souls who had wandered away came back and reunited with the church.  two others, who expect to go away, were granted certificates.  Brother Snavely held two meetings at the schoolhouse, and this morning started for his home again.  We ask for the prayers of God’s people, for we feel our weakness. – Belle Boyd, March 23.
