Nov. 10, Bro. S. M. Forney and I left home on mission work, nearly 140 miles north of here.  We organized a congregation in Garfield and Loup counties, with Bro. J. D. Mast in the ministry, and brethren John Ashman and Sears in the deacon’s office.  There are about fourteen members.  The name of the congregation will be “Loup Valley Church.”  They wish laboring brethren to remember them, and if any want to come West to locate, they would like to be remembered.  Bro. Mast Lives six miles north of Taylor, the county-seat of Loup county, and Bro. Ashman lives four miles north-east of Willow Springs. If any one wishes to correspond with them, address then at the above-name places. I preached in Taylor one week.  The attention was good.  A great many never heard of the Brethren before.  The people want me to come again, I arrived home Nov. 2, having been gone two weeks; found all well, thank the Lord!     David Bechtelheimer.
