Brethren George Stambaugh, of the Weeping Water church and Owen Peters, of the South Beatrice church, came to our aid Feb. 27.  An organization was effected in much love and union.  The members were called in council March 1; all business was adjusted to the satisfaction of the Church. There was an unanimous agreement to submit to the ruling of the Annual Meeting.

It was thought best that one should be called to help in the ministry. The lot fell on our dear brother, Rabran S. Rust.  It seemed to be quite unexpected to Bro. and Sister Rust, but they have the heart-felt sympathy of the members here, and many words of encouragement.  The brethren preached five sermons while with us, and we are sorry they could not remain longer. They told us many good things, and I believe much good will result from the meetings.  We have preaching every two week. Bro. George Stambaugh was chosen as elder over this arm of the church.  Brethren come again; you will be met with happy greetings when you come.   Israel Cripe.   Long Pine, Nebr,.
