From New Jersey.

By action of the Sandbrook and Bethel churches, of New Jersey, it was unanimously agreed to consolidate, and Eld. H. E. Light and I attended a council of the consolidated church, at the Sandbrook house on Saturday, Sept. 19, which was well attended.

The church is to be known as the Union church, of New Jersey. It has two churchhouses, the one is called Sandbrook; the other, Bethel. A lovefeast is to be held at the Bethel house, Nov. 14, 1896.

The church is in union, love and harmony. Bro. C. W. Moore was ordained to the eldership; and Bro. W. M. Howe, who, for the last year preached, for the Amwell church, is expected to stay and help Eld. Moore in the ministry. This will give them two ministers and three deacons, and sets them in a good working condition. If they continue to stand together and work unitedly, we believe that the Union church of New Jersey has a bright future before her. S. R. Zug. Mastersonville, Pa. Death of Eld. John
