From New Rockford, N. Dak.

The brethren and sisters of Foster and adjoining Counties met in special council at Carrington, June 10, for the purpose of organizing the church and to make further arrangements for the building of a churchhouse. Eld. Noah Fisher was to have been with us, but other duties delayed him, that he did not arrive until the following evening. Bro. D. C. Niccum was selected as our elder, Bro. L. M. Thomas, Treasurer and D. H. Snowberger, Clerk.  Bro. Niccum preaches every two weeks for the Brethren at Carrington, occupying the court-house for the present.

The money has nearly all been subscribed for a meetinghouse, and the house is to be ready for dedication by Sept. 1.

Most of the brethren and sisters who came in the colony were present and enjoyed a good season of worship together. All express themselves as being well satisfied with their new location, and are all enjoying good health, except Bro. Ikenberry, which is suffering from a attack of the measles.     D. H. Snowberger, June 15
