Brookville Church

Brookville. – The members of the Upper Wolf Creek church met in council at their house in Brookville Nov. 2,  at 10 A. M., for the purpose of organizing a new church district.  Elders D. M. Garver, L. A. Bookwalter, Geo. D. Zollers, William Minnich and Johnathan Hoover were with us. The following officers were chosen for a year: D. M. Garber, Elder; Emanuel Brumbaugh, treasurer; Monroe Snyder, clerk; the writer, corresponding secretary and Messenger agent. Five brethren were chosen as a financial committee and five more as trustees.  It was decided to call the organization the Brookville church.   Bro. Geo. D. Zollers was with the members at this place from Oct. 18 until Nov. 6.  He gave us interesting and instructive sermons. - Mrs. Ezra Kimmel, R. D. 3, Brookville, Ohio, Nov. 10
