Salem church met in council Feb. 2o, with Eld. J. H. Brumbaugh presiding. A number of letters were granted and one received.  Our missionary solicitors, Bro. Alva Zeigler and wife, made their report.  Bro. Alberturs Bucklew and wife were elected solicitors for the coming year.  A petition was presented for a separate congregation, to be known as West Milton. After due consideration of the matter, the church consented to the new organization almost unanimously.  The new congregation will have about ninety members, leaving about 270 members in Salem church.  Arrangements were made for the approaching district meeting in the Salem church.  Elders J. D. Mishler, from Indiana, and J. W. Fidler, of Ohio, were with us. – N. W. Sollenberger, R. D. 1, Union, Ohio,  Feb. 22
