Cement. – Feb. 27 the brethren and sister living near Cement met at the house of Bro. Masterson for the purpose of organizing a church in this part of the new country.  Bro. Jacob Appleman was expected to be with us, but for reasons unknown to us he was not present.  The vacancy was filled by Bro. T. c. Garst, of Tennessee, who happened in a few days before the meeting.  We organized with fourteen members, all present at the meeting except one.  Our territory includes the part of Caddo and Comanche counties, south of the Washita river and east of the R. I. R. R., running from Anadarco to Lawton, thence due south to the Red river, and will hereafter be known as the Cement church.  Bro. J. s. Masterson was chosen elder and the writer corresponding secretary.  Bro. Garst remained with us and preached eight very interesting and instructive discourses. He is traveling through Oklahoma with a view of locating. – Addie E. Ennis, Cement, Okla., March 11.
