Ashland Church

Ashland church met in council Jan. 5, at the Ashland churchhouse, for the purpose of being organized into a separate congregation, with elders Geo. Hoxie and J. P. Moomaw of the Rogue River congregation to assist in the work. Eighteen members were enrolled.  Eld. George Hoxie was elected elder in charge.  We have three ministers. C. E. Nininger, S. F. Decker and D. M. Brower – and two preaching services each Lord’s Day; also a good Sunday school. We are to be known as the Ashland congregation. – Cora Decker, Ashland, Oregon, Jan.
