Brother Samuel Brallier, of Ebensburg, Pa., informs us that on the 14th of July he attended a meeting at the wild cat school-house, near New Florence, Westmoreland county, Pa. the immediate object of the meeting was to organize a new congregation out of the portions of the Conemaugh and Quemahoning congregations, which was takes the name of Ligonier Valley, and is bounded on the north by Black Lick Creek; on the east by Laurel Hill; on the south by northern boundary of Indian Creek congregation; and on the west no boundary started. Dr. Miller of Boliver, formerly a United brethren preacher, was chosen to the ministry; and Theophilus Heipple and James Hare, who were at one time class leaders, one among the Methodists and the other among the Allbrights. It is hoped that they will all labor faithful in their Master’s service, and that the Lord’s work may prosper in their hands.
