Mine Run.— Nov. 19 Eld. M. G. Early, of the Nokesville congregation, came to us and preached on Saturday evening and Sunday morning. His health did not permit him to preach for us on Sunday evening. Nov. 21 Eld. A. Conner, of Manassas, came and assisted Bro. Early in organizing the band of workers at Mine Run, We decided that our name should be the Mine Run congregation. Our territory includes the counties of Orange, Spollsylvania and Louisa. Bro. S, W. Chambers was advanced to the second degree of the ministry and Bro. D. P. Quann was elected deacon. Bro. Early was selected as our elder. Bro. A. Connor preached for us on the evening of Nov. 21. which closed our meeting. We felt that the Lord was with us.—Mrs, A. M. Chambers, Locustgrove, Va., Nov. 23.
