The Brethren at St. Paul, Carroll Co., Va., decided to organize info a separate congregation. Sept. 19 was set for the organization. Eld. Jerry Barnhart, of Salem, N. C. Eld. H. P. Hylton, of Hylton, Va., and the writer met with them on that day. They also decided to elect one minister, and the lot fell on Bro. William H. Tow, who, with his companion was duly installed into the office. We pray the Lord to bless them in the good work. They chose H. P. Hylton to preside over them for the time being.

At night we enjoyed a love-feast with the members at that place, and I never witnessed a more quiet, public Communion than we had here.

By good management and right living we may expect to build up a nourishing church at this place in the future. It was our privilege to baptize a young lady Sept. 13.  We expect to hold our love-feast at the brick church on Saturday, Oct. 3. Services to begin at 4 P. M.

After our love-feast we expect, the Lord willing, to visit some of the isolated members in Carroll County, and hold a Communion, and then we go to Mercer, W. Va., where we have been called to spend a week or so with the few children there. In November we have promised to visit the Fraternity church in Forsythe County, N. C, where we will spend a week or more. C. D. Hylton.
