Bluefield. – Our churchhouse was dedicated Oct. 1. Elder P. S. Miller, of Roanoke, Va., delivered the dedicatory sermon at 11 A. M., to an attentive audience of 2500 people.  Bro. Miller continued his meeting throughout the following week, closing Sunday night, Oct. 8, with three accessions to the church, which is very encouraging, as our membership is quite small at this place. On Monday, at 10 A. M., the applicants, with a number of others, met in our home for a short service, after which we boarded a car for Graham, Va., two miles west, where baptism was administered in the Bluestone River. The three have been faithful attendants at Sunday-school for the past two years. We greatly appreciate our little church-house, as we now feel a home in our place of worship. Bro. Miller’s earnest sermons were indeed a feast to the soul. The attendance was very good, and the attention excellent. – Irene A. Boone,  Bluefield, W. Va., Oct. 10.

Bluefield. – Nov. 26, at 11 A. M. Bro. C. E. Eller, of Salem, Va., preached for us. At 3 P. M. we met for Sunday-school. The attendance was good. At 5 P. M. we held our first council meeting. Our elder Bro. D. Newton, of Daleville, Va., presided. The matter of being organized into a church was considered, and it was unanimously agreed that we be organized. The boundary line between the Bluefield and Smith’s Chapel churches, both in West Virginia, was decided on. Unanimously we agreed to live in obedience to the principles of the church and to work in harmony with the District and General Conference. As officers for the coming year, Bro. C. E. Boone was elected treasurer; the writer, clerk and Messenger correspondent. At 7:45 P. M. Bro. D. M. Eller preached on “The Second Coming of Christ.” It was arranged for us to have preaching here twice each month. – Irene A. Boone, Bluefield, W. Va., Nov. 27.
