Menomonie.—A request was granted at our district meeting to organize a church at Menomonie, Wis. Brethren John Heckman from Polo, 111., and Mark Burner from the Chippewa Valley church, Wis., came Oct. 3 and the group was organized, having forty-one charter members. Bro. Howard Peden, who has been working with the group for some time, was chosen elder; Bert Kincade was elected and installed as a deacon. A love feast was held in the evening with twenty-five at the table and a number of visitors. The Sunday morning service was also well attended and dinner was served at noon to all present. One was baptized in the afternoon. These services were held in a schoolhouse, but our regular Sunday services are held in the homes, as we do not have a church to worship in. We are looking forward to the time, which we hope will not be far off, when we can have a church home. The ladies' aid meets once a month and is doing good work.—Mrs. Howard Peden, Mondovi, Wis., Oct. 28.
